The ACORN ADAPT Series of Industrial IoT, Remote Telemetry and Industrial Automation Nodes provide highly scaleable, reliable and high speed battery powered connectivity for your instruments, valves, pumps, equipment and processes. As an intelligent, all-in-one remote power, control and wireless telemetry solution – field wiring is now redundant and remote locations are not a problem.
The DAYTECH ACORN ADAPT Series of expandable, realtime automation grade nodes, contain the DT-IOX IO modules and are designed for reliable, economical, sophisticated and robust remote wireless telemetry, with high speed monitoring, IP66 rugged cast aluminium outdoor housing, large 10Ah lithium battery and easy to use MODBUS remote control and automation.
The ACORN ADAPT Series comes with optional embedded long range 900MHz Zigbee DT-Mesh, transparent RS485 (MODBUS-RTU) via SCOUTNODE-485 or direct wired, Ethernet MODBUS-TCP direct wired, or WiFi communication capabilities. Providing your Remote Telemetry and Industrial Automation needs all-in-one with highly scaleable, reliable, high speed polling and long life battery and solar powered connectivity.
Utilised as slave IO for any MODBUS Master such as your PLC, RTU or SCADA system or together with Daytech’s ACORN platform, including wireless mesh networks and the ACORN EDGE Gateways for an all-in-one Industrial IoT and Automation solution.
ACORN-ADAPT - Modular Wireless IO Applications
Fully compatable with the whole range of DAYTECH's IIoT-SmartNode range and interoperable with a wide range of standard industrial protocols, connect ACORN-ADAPT Node and SmartPower units to other devices (electrical loads such as valves, motors, pumps, lighting, heating/cooling etc), use DAYTECH's stand-alone IoT platform or integrate with PLC/RTU/DCS/SCADA for wireless remote monitoring and control.
Easily program and control the ACORN IoT-SmartNode for stand-alone wireless control, using DAYTECH's graphical drag and drop "flow programming" or use commands from your existing control system.

Use the ACORN-ADAPT for a wide range of telemetry and remote all-in-one battery/solar powered applications. With the fully featured ACORN-ADAPT system, you don't need to run cabling to the load. Go remote with direct on board connection of Solar power for charging or even wind power, with inbuild MPPT battery charger. The ACORN-ADAPT Remote Telemetry Station with on board battery can be combined with an optional on board 4G gateway control system that can connect to, monitor and control other sensors and devices with standard outputs and you have a remote off-grid automation solution.
The ACORN-ADAPT directly powers itself and the connected load, sensors or actuators, via it's onboard 12VDC or 24VDC Lithium-Ion batteries. Battery capacity starts at 10Ah for the all-in-one model. Larger battery expansion modules are available.
